CYFRA+ is a digital platform offering a unique combination of all premium channels available in Poland, including those of CANAL+ family: CANAL+, CANAL+ FILM, CANAL+ SPORT, CANAL+ GOL i CANAL+ WEEKEND and of HBO family: HBO, HBO2, HBO Comedy, Cinemax, Cinemax 2, and the richest selection of thematic channels, including stations of its own production: ale kino+, PLANETE+, kuchnia+, DOMO+, MiniMini+, teleTOON+ and HYPER+. CYFRA+ is a choice of over 150 RTV channels and access to several hundred FTA ones. The platform offers a wide array of film, sports, documentary, music, children's, news and entertainment channels. CYFRA+ is also unique additional services such as: standard HDTV, CYFRA+ Multiroom, PVR, CANAL+ ON DEMAND, CYFRA+ VOD, HBO on Demand, choice of films with voice-over or with subtitles, comprehensive electronic programme guide (EPG) and an adult offer RelaXXX. CANAL+ is the first paid premium-type television in Poland of a film and sports profile. The station's offer is available on complementary channels CANAL+, CANAL+ FILM, CANAL+ SPORT, CANAL+ GOL and CANAL+ WEEKEND, which enable viewers to choose a convenient programme and their broadcast time. CANAL+ is also broadcast in high definition on CANAL+, CANAL+ FILM and CANAL+ SPORT, CANAL+ GOL, CANAL+ WEEKEND, and also on the first Polish band CANAL+ 3D, where the most attractive productions in 3D are shown. CANAL+ programmes are not interrupted by commercials, and on CANAL+ FILM and CANAL+ FILM HD there are no advertisements whatsoever. CANAL+ stations are available in cable television networks and on a digital platform CYFRA+, but also as a separate satellite offer, independent of the platform, under the name of Multipakiet CANAL+. ale kino+ is a film channel presenting world cinema at its best. The station's diverse programming is made up of carefully selected films. Here, controversial cinema, awarded at most important festivals, meets both Hollywood blockbusters and pearls of exotic cinematography. ale kino+ offers theme series and specials evenings, during which hot topics are taken and the most interesting cinema personalities are presented. On the station's own production "Kino Mówi" the hosts and their guests present films in unusual and astonishing contexts. Since 2005 ale kino+ has been co-organizing the World's Film Festival ale kino+, at which the most recent productions outside of Western culture may be watched. The channel was created in 1999. It is broadcast in HD standard. The films are shown 22 hours a day, with the possibility to choose a language version (with voice-over or subtitles to the original version).
