In the 6th edition of the Webstarfestival competition the Internet service of CANAL+ received as many as two awards - Webstar from the Internet Academy and Internet Users' Award.
CANAL+ Cyfrowy has won a Crystal Aerial in the category of "Satellite solutions" for carrying out the first broadcast in 3D technology in Poland on 15th May 2010. It was a coverage of a decisive Ekstraklasa match of the last season between Wisła Kraków and Odra Wodzisław, carried out via the Eutelsat satellite.
The spot produced by CANAL+ "Spring 2010" promoting the station's spring programme lineup has won the silver in the competition of PROMAX/BDA EUROPE 2001 in the category of ME, MYSELF & I. The awarded spot by Miguel Nieto "Spring 2010" beat six other productions nominated in a newly created category, for which spots fully created by one maker were entered.
The award ceremony took place on the PFFF Awards Gala on 26th May of this year in Sopot as part of the 35th Polish Feature Films Festival. A special award for the Patron of the Polish Cinema was a prize additionally awarded by the PFI Board this year. The award is an expression of PFI's recognition of the ongoing CANAL+ contribution to the development of the Polish cinema. Since its establishment in Poland not only has CANAL+ been showing Polish films, but also creating them. For 15 years the station has invested in more than 150 national productions, both feature films and documentaries.The PFI's award nominees in the category of "Radio broadcast or television programme" also included "Film News" of CANAL+, a custom-designed programme by Agnieszka Egeman.
CANAL+ television and CYFRA+ digital platform have won the title of Superbrand Poland in the 5th edition of the strongest Polish brands competition organized by the international organization of Superbrands. The title is awarded to only a small number of brands (less than 5 per cent of all brands assessed by the Board of Brands), which have been recognized as the strongest ones on the Polish market. The winners have been selected by the so-called Board of Brands, i.e. a chapter of renowned experts and specialists within the field of marketing, who analysed over 1500 consumer brands present in Poland. The title of Superbrand is awarded to a brand which has won the best reputation in its field, offering considerable benefits to consumers.
The CANAL+ Cyfrowy company was ranked the 3rd among the most valuable media companies in the 7th edition of "100 most valuable companies in Poland". The ranking was prepared by the strategic consulting company A.T. Kearney and the Newsweek Poland weekly.
CANAL+ Cyfrowy was ranked the first in the category of Broadcasting free-to-air and subscriber programmes, in the Media industry. The report was drawn up by Poland's Most Productive Companies.
CANAL+ Cyfrowy won the bronze EFFIE 2010 in the 11th edition of the competition of effectiveness of marketing communications actions. The company was awarded for the marketing campaign of CYFRA+ "Where the emotions are".
CANAL+ is in the fifth position in the ranking of television brands most often described in the press, after TVN, Polsat, TVP2 and TVP1.
In the supplement “Top Marka” [“Top Brand”] to the “Press” monthly published in October in the ranking of television brands most often described in the press, CANAL+ was ranked in the high, fifth position, as the only paid television at the top of the list, at the same time winning the highest number of points in the ranking for a positive overtone.
According to “Press” “CANAL+ beats its competitors with the strategy of its promotion through blockbuster films, documentaries and sport.”
The high position in the ranking has already been the fourth distinction for CANAL+ within recent months. Previously, CANAL+ received a title of Superbrand of Poland in the 4th edition of the competition for the strongest Polish brands, organized by an international organization of Superbrands, as well as a title of the High Reputation Brand in this year’s edition of the Premium Brand ranking. The brand of CANAL+ received a distinction in the “Media” category.

5. Film festival PLANETE DOC REVIEW won the 2nd edition of the Polish Film Institute Awards in the category of International Film Event. Since 2005, the main partner of the festival has been a documentary channel PLANETE.
The Mamastudio Agency was awarded with bronze in the Polish Advertising Competition KTR 2009 in the category of Design for creating visual identification for Domo.tv television. The award giving Gala took place on 29th April 2009. Neither gold nor silver was awarded in the category. Polish Advertising Competition has been organized since 2004. It is the largest competition of the advertising industry in Poland with its jury composed of the best creative directors involved in the process of making advertising messages, whose works have been awarded in international or Polish competitions, as well as of representatives of artistic and academic environments. Film Festival PLANETE DOC REVIEW won a cultural award of Wdechy 2008 in a category of “Event of the Year”. Film Festival PLANETE DOC REVIEW has been assessed by “Gazeta Co Jest Grane” [cultural supplement to Gazeta Wyborcza daily] as the best film festival in Warsaw, which presents world documentaries, radio documentaries illustrated with photography, concerts, Grand Press Photo exhibition and the Internet project in the Iplex cinema.
CANAL+ Cyfrowy with the PR agency Alert Media Communications was awarded in this year's Magellan Awards international public relations contest. The company won Magellan Award in the category of < Community Relations > for the CSR project of media education for secondary students MediaStarter, executed by Alert Media Communications for CANAL+ Cyfrowy.
Documentary channel PLANETE produced and broadcast by CANAL+ Cyfrowy Sp. z o.o. has been rewarded with a prestigious Hot Bird™ TV Excellence Award 2008. The station already won Hot Bird™ TV Award, called the satellite Oscar, for year 1999.
The series "Niezły Kanał" has received and award in the category of “Best Idea” in 12th edition of international graphics and computer animation competition ANIMAGO AWARD. The prize is awarded for the most interesting concept, based on which a digital production has been made. In this year’s edition 1026 works from 42 countries have been submitted. The prize for the best idea is one of 11 trophies awarded to works submitted withing main categories of „Film”, „Graphics” and „Interactive Production”.
CANAL+ Cyfrowy company has been honoured with golden EFFIE for the effectiveness of CYFRA+ advertising campaigns in 2007, and the title of the agency of they year was conferred to 66 Ogilvy Group providing its services to the company.
