CANAL+ AT THE TOP IN THE RANKING OF TELEVISION BRANDS ACCORDING TO "PRESS" MONTHLY

CANAL+ is in the fifth position in the ranking of television brands most often described in the press, after TVN, Polsat, TVP2 and TVP1. In the supplement “Top Marka” [“Top Brand”] to the “Press” monthly published in October in the ranking of television brands most often described in the press, CANAL+ was ranked in the high, fifth position, as the only paid television at the top of the list, at the same time winning the highest number of points in the ranking for a positive overtone. According to “Press” “CANAL+ beats its competitors with the strategy of its promotion through blockbuster films, documentaries and sport.” The high position in the ranking has already been the fourth distinction for CANAL+ within recent months. Previously, CANAL+ received a title of Superbrand of Poland in the 4th edition of the competition for the strongest Polish brands, organized by an international organization of Superbrands, as well as a title of the High Reputation Brand in this year’s edition of the Premium Brand ranking. The brand of CANAL+ received a distinction in the “Media” category.
CANAL+ WINS TITLE OF SUPERBRAND OF POLAND

CANAL+ television received a title of the Superbrand of Poland in the 4th edition of the competition for the strongest Polish brands, organized by an international organization of Superbrands. In this year’s competition CANAL+ was in the small circle of over 150 brands recognized as the strongest ones on the Polish market. The winners were selected by the so-called Board of Brands, i.e. a chapter of renowned experts and specialists in the field of marketing who analysed more than 1500 consumer brands existing in Poland.
CANAL+ AS BRAND OF HIGH REPUTATION

CANAL+ received a title of the High Reputation Brand in this year’s edition of the Premium Brand ranking. The brand of CANAL+ received a distinction in the “Media” category. The ranking of Premium Brand presents brands, companies and listed companies enjoying the highest reputation among general public and business environment. The list is made on the basis of professional research, prepared and performed by the team of specialists from research companies.
FILM FESTIVAL PLANETE DOC REVIEW WINS EDITION OF POLISH FILM INSTITUTE AWARDS

5. Film festival PLANETE DOC REVIEW won the 2nd edition of the Polish Film Institute Awards in the category of International Film Event. Since 2005, the main partner of the festival has been a documentary channel PLANETE.
PRIZE FOR VISUAL IDENTIFICATION OF DOMO

The Agency Mamastudio was awarded bronze in the Polish Advertising Competition KTR 2009 in a Design category for preparing visual identification for Domo television. A gala of awarding the prizes took place on 29th April 2009. Neither gold nor silver was awarded in the category.
CANAL+ CYFROWY AMONG MOST VALUABLE MEDIA COMPANIES ACCORDING TO A.T.KEARNEY AND NEWSWEEK POLAND

CANAL+ Cyfrowy company has been ranked the 3rd among the most valuable media enterprises in the 6th edition of the ranking of “100 most valuable companies in Poland, which put it in the 46th position in the overall listing of companies. The ranking was prepared by a strategic consulting company A.T. Kearney and a Newsweek Poland weekly.
GOLD FOR CYFRA+ ANIMATION “NIEZŁY KANAŁ” IN THE PROMAX/BDA COMPETITION

In the Promax/BDA Europe 2009 competition the spot promoting a series of “Niezły kanał” received a prize in the category of “Best design in promotion”. In this year ‘s edition of the Promax/BDA competition, „Niezły kanał” was also nominated in the category of «The most innovative idea », and the spot advertising the service of CYFRA+ VOD in the category of « The best service promotion ».
DOMO HONOURED WITH „BUILDER’S LAURELS 2008”

A thematic channel Domo has been honoured with “Builder’s Laurels 2008” in the category of MEDIA FOR CONSTRUCTION. “Builder’s Laurels” is a distinction awarded by the Builder monthly for companies and institutions outsider the construction industry, whose activity and the services provided support the development of this industry. The chapter took into account the availability of a product or service, innovation, adaptation to the requirements of the construction industry, customers’ needs and the changing market.
PLANETE DOC REVIEW AS BEST CULTURAL EVENT OF 2008

Film Festival PLANETE DOC REVIEW won a cultural award of Wdechy 2008 in a category of “Event of the Year”. Film Festival PLANETE DOC REVIEW has been assessed by “Gazeta Co Jest Grane” [cultural supplement to Gazeta Wyborcza daily] as the best film festival in Warsaw, which presents world documentaries, radio documentaries illustrated with photography, concerts, Grand Press Photo exhibition and the Internet project in the Iplex cinema.
PLANETE RECEIVES HOT BIRD TV EXCELLENCE AWARD 2008

Documentary channel PLANETE produced and broadcast by CANAL+ Cyfrowy Sp. z o.o. has been rewarded with a prestigious Hot Bird™ TV Excellence Award 2008. The station already won Hot Bird™ TV Award, called the satellite Oscar, for year 1999.
„NIEZŁY KANAŁ” HONOURED WITH ANIMAGO AWARD 2008 IN CATEGORY „BEST IDEA”

The series "Niezły Kanał" has received and award in the category of “Best Idea” in 12th edition of international graphics and computer animation competition ANIMAGO AWARD. The prize is awarded for the most interesting concept, based on which a digital production has been made. In this year’s edition 1026 works from 42 countries have been submitted. The prize for the best idea is one of 11 trophies awarded to works submitted withing main categories of „Film”, „Graphics” and „Interactive Production”.
CANAL+ CYFROWY RECEIVES GOLDEN STATUETTE EFFIE FOR EFFECTIVENESS OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS OF CYFRA+ IN 2007.

CANAL+ Cyfrowy company has been honoured with golden EFFIE for the effectiveness of CYFRA+ advertising campaigns in 2007, and the title of the agency of they year was conferred to 66 Ogilvy Group providing its services to the company. The prizes were awarded on 3rd November during a Gala of Marketing Communications Competition EFFIE Awards 2008 in Teatr Wielki.

In the all-Poland ranking of „Laur Klienta 2008” (Client's Laurel) CYFRA+ won the 1st place in the category of "Digital platforms" well ahead of other competitive brands. The title was conferred to CYFRA+ the second time in the competition organized by the Media Partner Group, the editor of "Przegląd Gospodarczy" (Economic Review) and "Rzecz o Biznesie" (On Business).

CANAL+ has received a statuette of Titanium Eye awarded on the 3rd Festival of Thematic Channels. The competition was adjudicated during 33rd International Conference and Exhibition of PIKE 2008 in Zakopane. CANAL+ was awarded in the category of „Cooperation with operators”, beating, among others, MiniMini and National Geographic Channel.

CANAL+ Cyfrowy with the PR agency Alert Media Communications was awarded in this year's Magellan Awards international public relations contest.
